Post Disable dead Zone in harddisk seagate

for exmpale we have dead zone start from 56000000

First convert 56000000(decimal) to 3567E00(hexadecimal). Then enter terminal mode. Enter level A, use command D356,7E00 to convert LBA 3567E00 to PCHS. (Command sequence: Ctrl+Z---->/A----->Ctrl+R----->D356,7E00). Thus you can know which track it locates. Refer to the attachment for example. (In my case that LBA locates at track 6A46.

In my case, LBA 56000000 belongs to Zone 3. If you want to disable that zone, you need to change SPT to 0, and then click Save.

what good does it do to disable a zone?
Are you trying to repair the drive to reformat and use with smaller capacity?
Or are you trying to recover data?
